Command Bar

Quickly access files, actions, and settings from anywhere in Blueberry with Cmd+P.

Overview

The Command Bar is a universal launcher that puts every action at your fingertips. Instead of hunting through menus or remembering where settings live, press Cmd+P and start typing.

Opening the Command Bar

Press Cmd+P from anywhere in Blueberry to open the Command Bar. Press Escape to dismiss it.

What You Can Do

Start typing a file name to quickly find and open files in your project. Results update as you type with fuzzy matching, so you don’t need to remember exact file names.

Commands

Access workspace commands like toggling panels, switching themes, or managing terminals.

Settings

Jump directly to specific settings without navigating through menus.

Switch between open tabs, preview pages, and pinned apps.

Tips for Power Users

  • Type fast, be vague. Fuzzy matching means you can type partial file names or abbreviations and still find what you need.
  • Use it for everything. The Command Bar is often faster than clicking through the UI, even for actions you know the location of.
  • Muscle memory. The more you use Cmd+P, the faster it becomes. It’s designed to be the single entry point for navigating your workspace.
